Meet The Team
Founder; Co-Director; Editor-in-Chief (Decadent Cosmos Press)
TASHA Z (any pronouns)
TASHA is an artist with a penchant for printed material and a passion for collaborating and curating with other artists. When not making art, you can find them watching Eastern European films, talking about Jesus, or dancing on tables . . . sometimes all at the same time. As a painter, TASHA strives to synthesize the spiritual aspects of the traditions and movements they find most inspiring, namely Greek and Russian Orthodox iconography, many Modernist movements including, Symbolism, Surrealism, and Dada, and countless Outsider and Folk artists. TASHA's love of cinema has contributed to their aesthetic philosophy by suggesting that time may play a significant role in the way that we explore and experience images.

Blog Writer
Jess Bond (she/her)
Jess is a creative who has always had a passion for learning more about the world around here. She received her BA from Temple University in Journalism and is currently finishing her MA in Media and Cultural Studies from the University of Sussex in England. Her current work focuses on the art created by women artists and the importance of representation of marginalized identities.
Her dissertation focuses Black British women and independent media and how Black British women created their own forms of media during the 1970s and how it has influenced contemporary media. She’s keen to explore more of her creative side in creative writing and beat the imposter syndrome cloud hanging over her.
Blog Writer
Harmony Witte (she/they)
Harmony is a lifelong artist, community organizer, and a recent writer. She lives with her husband and two cats. She started considering herself an artist when she was 9 years old and has made that her life’s work. She organized the 2017 Boston Artist March and 2022’s Driftwood: A Communal Grieving Event as well as several art events, fundraisers, and shows. She began writing in January 2023 and really enjoys the process of converting the thoughts in her head to the written form, then sharing those ideas with other people. She has a gallery show of her hallucination watercolors in December at ShoeBones Gallery in Salem, so she will be frantically painting when she’s not writing for the next few months.
Editor, Tongue (Decadent Cosmos Press)
TS (they/them)
TS is a Boston-based philosopher and artist who produces art that psychoanalysts really enjoy because the art is “dripping with the unconscious.” They really have no reasoning behind the art they make apart from a felt need to give physical form to vivid images that occasionally percolate throughout their mind. Their current mediums include ink, oil pastels, and mixed media collage.

photographer
Jennessa Bryson (she/her)
Jennessa can be found behind the scenes (or in front of the stage) at Decadent Cosmos events contorting herself into silly positions with her camera to get the best angles possible. Other than working with super-cool artist collectives, some of her favorite things to do are orchestrating fun and weird impromptu photo shoots wherever the vibes are right, obsessing over all things Southern Gothic, dancing in empty bars with her best friends, and spilling pasta from the strainer all over the kitchen counter every single time.
